Pocket Planners: The 2020-2021 handy dandy two-year pocket planner calendars will be available soon. The cost will be $3.00, the same as last time. These make perfect gifts – stocking stuffers, Christmas gifts for friends and co-workers, not to mention for yourself! Supply is limited, so get one now to avoid disappointment when the planners are gone.
Altar Guild Meeting: The semi-annual St. Andrew’s Altar Guild meeting will be held Sunday, October 13th, at 9am in the Parish Hall. All persons interested in being a part of Altar Guild and the care and maintenance of items we use for worship each week are welcome to attend. Committee Chairs please submit your reports if you are unable to make the meeting to Altar Guild President, Emily Challis.
Family Promise Update: The next opportunity for St. Andrew’s to serve will be Tuesday, October 15, 5pm until 7:30am on October 16. The First Presbyterian Church, FT. ***UPDATE: We need van drivers, meal preparers, dinner hosts, as well as overnight hosts to make this event successful. Men’s Prayer Breakfast: The next prayer breakfast will be held on October 14, 8:00am at Frisch’s in Bellevue.
Episcopal Church Women: The next ECW meeting will be October 20th at 9 am. All are welcome to attend. The meeting will be in the Parish Hall.
ECW Ladies’ Luncheon: Will be October 21 at El Nopal Mexican Restaurant in Cold Spring @11:30am. All ladies are welcome!
Ingathering of Pet Food: To honor St. Francis and to give thanks for our pets, we are having an ingathering of dry cat food and dry dog food during he month of October. Donations should be in packages that are 5 pounds or less. The pet food will be given to St. Paul’s Food Pantry. Please leave your donation in the white laundry basket in the Narthex. Thank you.
