GET YOUR FLU SHOT:Flu shots are available Oct. 21st, downstairs in Parish Hall from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. Jenny Liles Miller, a pharmacist on behalf of Kroger Pharmacy will be giving the shots. It is a simple process that will take 3-5 minutes per person and includes a simple form to fill out. Remember to have your insurance card available!
Camp Indian Summer 2018: On Oct. 20-22, the Camp & Conference Board and the Diocesan Young Adult Commission will again host Camp Indian Summer at the Cathedral Domain. Designed exclusively for adults, this retreat will offer participants the opportunity to engage in creative worship, yoga classes, guided meditation, and various fellowship programs as well as all the outdoor activities the Domain has to offer. September’s Soldier of the month: This month we are collecting items for LTC Edwin S Cook IV, US Army, serving in Kuwait. Some suggested items to donate are Gold Bond Body Powder, Dial Soap (Bar), playing cards, wet wipes, hard candies (butterscotch, peppermint, etc.), shampoo, Ale-8 Soft Drink, Chocolate Riesens (the only chocolate that survives the heat during shipping!), Grippo’s. Please place your donated items in the Soldier Box located in the narthex. The collection for Edwin will run through Sept. 30th.
